From biochemicals to advanced materials, unique products and solutions for every research need
Our Natural Compounds (NC) Collection contains more than 69,000 unique molecules, representing a broad and diverse selection of natural products sourced from plants, microorganisms, marine organisms, and other natural origins.
The collection includes:
- 30 - 35% strictly natural compounds isolated from botanical, microbial, and marine sources
- ~40% derivatives of natural compounds, including modified alkaloids, terpenoids, flavonoids, and other key classes
- 25 - 30% natural mimetics and analogues, such as azosteroids, azocoumarins, conjugated isoindole systems, oxaterpenoids, and related structures
Across the entire library:
- 60 - 65% are plant-derived
- 5 - 10% originate from microorganisms
- ~5% from marine sources
- The remainder comes from other natural origins
All compounds are provided at 92–98% purity, with structures and stereochemistry confirmed using advanced analytical techniques such as NMR (300–500 MHz), mass spectrometry, and, when required, X-ray crystallography.
The collection covers a wide range of natural product classes, including:
- Thousands of alkaloids
- Thousands of terpenoids
- Over 3,000 flavonoids and coumarins
- More than 1,000 peptides, glycosides, and nucleosides
- Several hundred phenolic compounds
The library also includes numerous rare and unusual molecules such as phytoalexins, allelopathic agents, natural toxins, unique sesquiterpenoids, secondary metabolites, and specific attractant molecules.
We also offer a specialised selection of functionalised natural compounds, ideal for Natural Combinatorial Chemistry, available in quantities from a few grams to several hundred grams.
